Spelt Biscuit Mix
Made with organic spelt flour & buttermilk.
Ingredients: organic white spelt flour, organic wholespelt flour, dried buttermilk, sugar, baking powder, salt
Contains: wheat, milk
Directions: Pre-heat oven to 450°. Cube 1 stick (4oz) cold unsalted butter. Add 2 c. biscuit mix. Cut with pastry cutter or two knives until butter is pea sized. Add ¾ c. ice water. Mix to combine; DON’T overmix. Turn dough onto floured surface. Roll out, fold in thirds, roll again until desired thickness. Cut biscuits. Bake on ungreased skillet or baking sheet, 12-15 min. Makes 8-10 biscuits.
