Jefferson's Original Griddle Cake Mix
The ultimate weekend-morning pancake tradition. Inspired by a classic local recipe. Made with either red and yellow dent corn. Just add some local maple syrup!
Ingredients: organic whole wheat pastry flour, organic red dent cornmeal, organic oat flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda
Contains: wheat
Directions: Mix 3/4 cup milk, 1 tbsp yogurt, & 1 egg. Stir in 1 heaping cup griddle cake mix. Let rest for 10-15 minutes so the flour absorbs the liquid. Heat griddle. Once it’s hot, add butter or oil, then batter. When bubbles form, flip and cook until golden. Serves 2-3.
